Neil McClelland holds a first-class MA joint honours degree in History and Italian, and a Master of Research (MRes) degree, both from the University of Glasgow. His MRes thesis, which passed unconditionally, was on notions of foreignness in Florence c.1300-c.1525. He is currently the PhD student on the Art and Inequality project, to which his doctoral thesis is providing the context of the city of Naples.
